COVID-19 and what we're doing about this
by Jayson Kandiah on March 24, 2020
We wanted to address and also outline the steps taken in light of the ongoing pandemic that is COVID-19.
Praivo visits 1000s of people daily, either through its new business programme or through its engineers division. As a result, the safety of our team and those around us is of paramount importance to our business. We have this week alone cut down our capacity by 60% to ensure exposure of any one employee and/or customer is reduced, we will also be reducing the capacity on-the-fly based on the instructions and circumstances of the government. All team members are equipped with gloves, masks and hand sanitisation products to ensure our team maintain a germ free environment, we have also increased stock holding within our supply chain so that visits to any suppliers are kept to a minimum to eliminate any risk.
Engineer and customer geolocation data is being reviewed and if we feel we may need to reschedule appointments based on risk factor, our team will contact you swiftly to discuss options.
We are still handling support queries remotely for customers and will assist customers as much as possible remotely to ensure they remain safe and secure.
I and the management team will be reviewing the ongoing situation seriously and review any further precautions we may need to take to aid the wellbeing of our team and our valued customers through this difficult time.
My wishes and prayers go out to those affected by COVID-19 and I wish nothing but a speedy recovery.
Our team are currently operating at a slightly lower capacity than our usual schedule. However, we are still installing for emergency appointments. Hand sanitisation, Social Distancing and Masks and Gloves are being incorporated as part of our working practices and engineers are being screened prior to entering customer premises.
